"The problem we all live with from Norman Rockwell is one of the main modern painting about segragation. It shows how hard it was for this little girl to integrate this school and the strength of the racisim at this period. People hate her even if they don't know who she really is and that's awful. Seeing how they throw the tomatoes on her, the writings on the wall and how she's protected by the bodyguard must be painful for her because as the painting shows, she's not like the other childrens. The way she's dressed is very beautiful for me cause she wear a white dress, so we can see the contrast with her skin."
